Arbres en ligne distributes plants to individuals in Quebec and across Canada, mostly native to northeastern North America, including maple, willow, pine, spruce, and larch. The company offers a wide variety of young trees, shrubs ant perrenials one to two years old, grown in Quebec and propagated mainly from seed in greenhouses and nurseries.

The mission of Online Trees is to promote the integration of a large number of trees and shrubs into your landscaping. We aim to encourage the use of native Quebec species for the benefit of our ecosystems, flora, and fauna.
We offer a wide variety of quality plants, trees, shrubs, conifers and deciduous trees at affordable prices to improve our environment collectively, one plant at a time!
Trees Online History
Trees Online is a branch of Pépinière Vert forêt, located in southern Quebec. The nursery has been in operation for over 30 years. Three different generations of owners (non-related) have passed the torch to the present day.
The primary vocation of Pépinière vert forêt is to serve a commercial clientele (garden centers, landscapers, horticultural producers, cities and municipalities, NGOs, …).
In 2008, the idea comes to allow individual customers access to the nursery's unique products . That's when the first version of the website was launched and the adventure began.
In its early days, Online Tree shipped a few dozen orders per year. Today, after sustained growth, several hundred packages of carefully selected and packed plants leave our facilities each year to enrich your outdoor spaces.
Trees Online today
The nursery has been operated since 2019 by Audrey Rondeau and Marc-Olivier Durand , life and business partners. They produce over 1.5 million seedlings annually. Plant propagation takes place in 45,000-square-foot greenhouse complex as well as on nearly five hectares of cultivated beds.
The plants are primarily propagated from seed to ensure good genetic diversity in the batches produced. The nursery offers nearly 150 different varieties of trees and shrubs, as well as some perennials and woodland plants .
The team of 14 to 16 people consists of long-time collaborators, family members and temporary foreign workers.
Our plants, trees and shrubs
The plants, trees, and shrubs we sell are young plants, one to two years old (their height varies from about ten centimeters to a maximum of two feet, depending on the variety and age). They are produced in multi-cell production trays (a tray containing several cells). These plants are rooted in a core of growing medium. They are mostly native, meaning they originate from our forest ecosystems in Quebec . These are very hardy plants. They are well-adapted to Quebec's harsh climate and are not very susceptible to insects and diseases. Most are easy to grow if planted in the right environment (soil type, light, pH, humidity).
